Role Description

Solution Consultants are the primary resource for the field sales force. Solution Consultants are responsible for actively assisting and supporting the Account Executive to further the sales process. Solution Consultants work in conjunction with the sales team as the key advisor and product advocate for the Aderant application suites and as a liaison between Sales and Product Management/Marketing. The Solution Consultant must be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both business and technical users.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for development and delivery of product demonstrations.
• Responsible for representing the product to customers and at field events such as conferences, seminars, etc.
• Able to respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs.
• Able to convey customer requirements to Product Management teams.
• Able to travel throughout sales territory. Ideal candidates must be self-motivated, have experience in the legal/professional services vertical, and have knowledge of the technology and software used in this industry.
• Candidates must be comfortable with the dynamic atmosphere of a technology-driven organization with a rapidly expanding customer base.
• Candidates must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
• Candidates should be organized and analytical, be able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. This position involves extensive travel throughout North America.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in product sales or solution consulting/presales
• Experience and familiarity with enterprise level accounting systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Accounting/Finance is required.
• Experience with Aderant Expert (preferred) or equivalent practice management software for law firms.
